Undead and Proud

...or in the way to be proud.

"In the Flesh" has taken over my life since last july, and although i've done some dooddles it was time i did a proper fanart (which doesn't mean it is good, i already want to change so many things)
I remember watching the 3 episodes that comform the 1st season (damnit british shows) last year and really liking it, a new turn to the zombie industry and not in a comedy or your typical action and zombie killing way, but a drama, a real drama. I love all things related to zombies and obviously got a hold of this show as soon as I knew about it. I knew the premise was "what if we could get a cure that could make zombies more human-like and get them into society again" but i wasn't expecting it to be this amazing and good reflection of what a shitty society we live in. Being a very minimal and intimate show it hits hard in very "uncomfortable" issues as mental health, homosexuality, racism, segregation... You  can change the zombies (called PDS or Parcially Deceased Syndrome sufferers) for any opressed minority you can think of and see an accurate representation of the reaction society would have.

But that was ir for me, a very good show i liked. Then earlier this year season 2 was out (6 episodes this time, but still damnit british shows), i very happily went to see my fav zombie boy (Kieren is a cutie for an undead ) and as if i couldn't say already from season 1 my heart got slayed once again by this fucking fiction AND NO I CAN'T STOP CRYING ABOUT THEM AND EVERYTHING HURTS AND GOD DO I LOVE THIS SHOW. Since season 2 it's the only thing i can think about. It expands a little the view of the PDS/undead issue and the extremism from both parts (living and undead), we get som very good new characters and well, shit happens, you know ;___;

"In the Flesh" has easily become my favorite TV show from all time, with the exception of The X-files. It's refreshing to have a show with such reality despite the fact that we are talking about zombies. I could go on and on talking about the show, but i'll be rambling and i think the best way you understand what I mean is that you watch it yourselves.
